Baptism services

On 13th September 2009 we celebrated Catherine's baptism at Kidlington Baptist Church. At the tender age of 14, she was the only candidate but that didn't phase her and there was some fantastic support from family and friends. Special mention goes to Rebecca for being in the water with her, and Wendy for the hospitality. Paul's message of coming to drink freely of the new life Jesus offers was powerful and relevant.

A year later, on 3rd October 2010, we celebrated Angela Bai's baptism, with Steve Barber officiating at Kidlington. Soonah was Angela's "water partner" and the message delivered by Matt Mitchell-Farmer. Angela's testimony was heartfelt and moving and following the recent dedication of their baby Emma, this family are going well with the Lord.

Easter Day (24th April 2011) saw a double celebration of new life! Our risen Lord and 4 baptismal candidates! We "christened" our new portable baptistry, and it is the first time we have been able to incorporate baptisms in our morning service. Gareth Plested, Alastair Christie, Jan Gwyn and Ben Ford represented all ages and backgrounds with inspiring testimonies, song choices and Bible verses.

The portable baptistry came out again on 11the September 2011, and can be seen in action on this video. A wonderful witness by the 3 candidates!
