Family Fun Day

This was started in 2005 when the churches in Bicester were helped by Fusion (http://www.fusionyac.org/), an Australian group who have run Christian led events for the community all round the world. A  Festival creates an open crowd, who interact freely with each other in the way communities should do. No one is left out, there is freedom of questioning and trying new things together. The ideas is that the Church should not be kept behind it's own walls but break out and be a vibrant part of the town, accessible and welcoming, considered helpful and respected. This aim was achieved at our first Festival at Garth Park in the summer of 2005, We have held one every year since, as the people could not believe all of this was laid on free of charge as a gift to the good folk of Bicester, and looked forward to the next one.
