Situations Vacant

OBF is at present seeking to call a new Minister following the departure of Richard Cutting in November, 2008. Sadly Richard felt the need to become a full-time carer for his wife following a serious road accident. They left with our love and affection. At present the Church is being blessed by the ministry of the Leadership Team, local Ministers and friends from Christians in Sport, based locally in Bicester. We are moving forwards with a spirit of unity as we look forward to the calling of our new Minister.

LATEST UPDATE: On Sunday 14th March we invited Rev. Stephen Barber to preach "with a view". This was followed by a fellowship meal & question/answer session. Members then voted (and prayed!) at the Special Meeting on 18th March where it was recommended by the Leadership team that he be called to our ministry. THE VOTE WAS A UNANIMOUS "YES" so now we await Stephen's acceptance and the church will prepare for his induction, hopefully around September time.
